Making Jesus our constant Companion

When we make Jesus our constant Companion, we will feel the power of the unseen world all around us. By looking at Jesus, we will become like Him. Our characters will be softened, polished, and strengthened for the kingdom in heaven. Our prayers will become more focused and more intuitive. We are being educated by God, and this will show in our hard work and enthusiasm for the cause of Christ.

When we turn to God for help, support, and power in our sincere daily prayer, we will have a clear understanding of truth and duty, and a constant desire to do good. The strength we will gain through prayer, together with our kind and gentle habits, will prepare us for each day’s duties and give us peace no matter what happens.
