Michael Messervy was born in Denver, CO and raised in Palmer, Alaska. He graduated from Southern Adventist University in 2003 with his BA in Theology and served as the pastor of a four-church district in Southwestern Virginia for two years. He and Amelia were married in May of 2004 in Washington State. Amelia is a native of Central Washington and she graduated from Walla Walla College in 2003 with her BA in Music Education. Michael enjoys mountain-biking, studying, and backpacking with his wife. Their family includes a border collie named "Banjo" and a cat named "Mandolin."

A native of New England, Pastor Banks became a Seventh-day Adventist while studying at the University of Connecticut where he received a BA in History. He continued his studies at Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan, where he earned his masters and DMin degrees. He is a charter member of the Adventist Theological Society, and his work of teaching  and  evangelizing has taken him around the world. Through the years he has developed a special interest in how the Old Testament sanctuary and the prophetic portions of the Scriptures reveal Christ and the plan of salvation. Pastor Banks enjoys bicycling, hiking, reading, nature activities and spending time with his wife Joannie and his two children, Timothy and Emily.
